Healing Oversensitivity
Oversensitivity is when you have an amplified mental or emotional reaction to an experience that was “not enough of a stimulus” to warrant such a BIG reaction. Oversensitivity is when people choose to allow themselves to be overwhelmed by a stimulus and then they have overreactions.
Oversensitivity can be dangerous. It can lead to pointless overreactions and pointless anger, clashing and fighting with others. Perfectionism is dangerous because it makes people get addicted to needing to improve things that are already good enough and it blocks their enjoyment. Perfectionism can create oversensitivity. Being overly introverted, isolated or very mentally active and creative, can also make people more prone to oversensitivity.
As people spiritually evolve, they become more sensitive to all energies. Lower negative energies become more annoying and higher good energies become more enjoyable. Negative energies that used to be acceptable, will become unbearable and people will need to change friends and environments to adapt to new evolution.
Some people who were raised by overprotective parents, or who live in a small isolated bubble of experience, can sometimes react to new and different experiences with fear and oversensitivity. If you have the same experience all the time, it can get boring. If you eat the same food all the time, you can actually develop an allergy to it.
The key is Balance.
It is important to be honest with what you are feeling about other people you interact with and environments that you are in. If your intuition has increased, you will notice new negative energies in more ways. You need to be honest and do what you need to do to continue to have a good experience for yourself now. Always block negative experiences, leave them and don’t stay in them. Don’t block yourself from having the good experiences that you want to have, just because you are blocking the negative experiences. Recognise WHEN you have gone too far and have become oversensitive so that you can correct that behaviour and those thoughts before you take bad actions and overreact and get hurt or hurt others unnecessarily.
